Topic: WordPress 5.0 & WooCommerce live demo
Presented By: Michael Visser
Location: River City Labs, Fortitude Valley
WooCommerce has emerged as the most popular method to sell online with over one million sites powered by WordPress and WooCommerce.
WordPress 5.0 brings with it a new editor (Previously codenamed Gutenberg), this new editor is going to impact the entire publishing experience including customisation.
This presentation will be a practical talk demonstrating the changes that ‘Gutenberg’ and Block types bring to new and existing WooCommerce stores in how we present Posts, Pages and WooCommerce templating. If you want to dive deep there will be time for technical Q&A questions at the end of the presentation.
We’d like to thank our sponsors for their ongoing dedication to the meetup:
Conetix, Plesk, and WP Engine.
