** We’ll be located in the BASECAMP room at RCL. Easiest Access via Single Elevator to the right as you enter RCL. **

For the April meetup we’re doing something a little different – We’ve asked everyone to step up and present a 5-10minute presentation on a topic you care about. No slides needed, just a web browser and whatever notes you want to bring 🙂

Topic: Short Stories by you
Location: River City Labs, Fortitude Valley

Here’s the preliminary line up, the exact order will be determined on the night.

Rob Wilde – Mr Wilde’s WordPress Designer/Developer Tips/Tricks
Doug Watt – Framework for getting site performance right
Gal Baras – How to make your site 5 times faster in 10 minutes
Simeon Griggs – Browsersync for local development
Hannah Malcolm – Automating Themes

We may have room for another 1 or 2 presenters, and we’ve got a few people who have flagged interest, so we may have another talk or two added to this list!
A note to presenters: We’ll be being strict on the time limit, we’ve got a lot to go through!

How to access Building: Please note RCL has moved to 315 Brunswick St. Head to Brunswick St Mall, locate the “TCB Building” half way up and follow signs for “THE PRECINCT” (and the WordPress Meetup signs with red arrows), take the elevator to Level 3 – If level 3 is locked, proceed to level 2 and walk up through RCL (Exit right from elevator, 30m then up the theatre stairs).
