Welcome to the sixth Meetup event for WordPress Port Macquarie in 2019!

Robey will be getting you started with Google Analytics.
From creating a new (free) account, adding the tag to your website, how to read the reports, and even setting up a conversion.
When you operate a Brick and Mortar shop, you can immediately gauge attributes of your customers when they walk in the door, such as age-range, gender, quantity etc. But when your shop is online, you can’t ‘see’ anything. Google Analytics is the tool that gives you this ability back.
But this is not only for eCommerce sites. Google Analytics is beneficial for every type of website. So that you can cater to your audience as best you can, you need to know the details of what people do when they visit your website, how long they stay, what pages they visit, and the path they follow to find that information they need.
Laptops are invited too so you can follow along if you want 🙂
