There is a lot of talk lately about the upcoming major WordPress release, and changes are going to impact developers and users alike. The most notable change in the much anticipated release (tentatively planned for the end of April) is the inclusion of the brand new Gutenberg editor, which completely changes the way we create posts and pages.
Gutenberg looks at the editor as more than a content field, revisiting a layout that has been largely unchanged for almost a decade. It is a big change, and it’s important that we’re prepared for it!
Luckily, Mike Haydon from Intelliwolf (www.intelliwolf.com.au) has been hard at work researching the controversial new editor, and he will be sharing with us all the important stuff you need to know so you don’t get taken by surprise come launch time.
