This month is going to be an SSL extravaganza, with 2 speakers and something for all levels of experience.
SSL – What I found out this week! – Ricky Blacker
Most of us know that we need an SSL certificate if we have an eCommerce site or a website with sensitive data, but what is it? How does it work? Can it help with SEO? And how do you put one on a site? In true Ricky style, I will go in and uncover the answer to these and many other questions, just in time to present them at the meetup, with slides that may be up to 80% error free.
HTTP + S, not always next -> next -> finish – Robert Wilde
Pitfalls to avoid before adding SSL to your site.
It’s great when you can just click a few buttons and presto you have SSL but it does not always work that way. I have migrated old sites, new sites and everything in between.
Come along Thursday I will run you through my best practices before migrating your site or your client’s site over to https.
