WordPress Security – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly

We are excited to announce that WordPress Perth will be returning in 2018 with monthly Meetups hosted by Spacecubed!

Our first topic for the year will be WordPress Security – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Every website is a potential target for hackers and bots, from the humble blog to the global e-Commerce shop. With around 60% of all CMS-based websites running on WordPress, that makes us a prime target. Jo Minney from House Digital (www.housedigital.com.au­) provides training and consulting on WordPress security to small business owners, and will be sharing with us some ways we can protect our websites, ourselves and our customers without breaking the bank. Jo is an experienced trainer and facilitator, and regularly runs digital strategy workshops to help businesses make the most of their digital platforms and online presence.
